Our onsite team plays a crucial role in educating our subcontractors and vendors about practicing safety at work. We believe that safety is a collective responsibility, and it remains our priority at all times. At Timberline Constructors, integrating safety into our quality and production standards is fundamental.
Substance Abuse Standards
Timberline Constructors enforces a strict no-tolerance policy for substance abuse on all projects. It is the duty of each contractor to ensure their workplace is devoid of illegal substances and alcohol. Timberline Constructors retains the authority to conduct drug and alcohol testing on anyone. Furthermore, the presence of firearms and weapons is strictly forbidden on all projects.
Hazard Competency
Timberline Constructors Inc. mandates that every subcontractor is provided with access to the on-site Hazard Communication Program, which includes a site-specific list of chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). It is the right of every employee to be informed about the location of HazCom Programs and to receive training on the hazardous chemicals they may come into contact with during their work. Additionally, all chemicals must be correctly labeled and stored in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the HazCom Program.
